Abstract

The advent of Human Rights places at the head of the State the fulfillment of minimum obligations respectful of the dignity of the
human person, which are evolving according to the progressive interpretation of the same. This caused that, in the matter of abortion, the right to life is analyzed in an indivisible and interdependent way of the economic, social and cultural rights of which women and pregnant persons are holders. Consequently, feminists begin to propose in terms of reproductive justice the fulfillment of sexual and (non) reproductive human rights to transfer them from the private and clandestine space to concrete obligations of the State in terms of public health. As a result, the enactment of Law No. 27,610 on Voluntary Termination of Pregnancy in the Argentine Republic requires abandoning a violent and discriminatory system to give rise to the redistribution of resources in terms of gender and human rights.
