Abstract

In this paper I propose a first more general and provisional approach to the legal analysis of the set of main measures arranged by the Government of the Argentine Republic to face the coronavirus crisis, evaluating the political and institutional context and the social conditions in which they operate. Then yes, I would like to develop an analysis - also provisional - regarding the reasonableness of the measure that most clearly puts into play the crisis between individual and collective rights, consisting of preventive and compulsory social isolation, popularly known as "quarantine", and which was arranged through an administrative decision that -as we will see- was extended -with gradual flexibilizations by activity and by geographical areas- until it is reduced to the Metropolitan Area of ​​Buenos Aires -AMBA- and some provincial cities, for now until August 30, 2020.
